Ordering informationAll forms of payment are to be made out to Pick Away Press LLC. Terms are the usual, as given below: Money order or cashier's check: Orders are activated upon receipt of payment. CD sets are shipped directly to you by us. They are shipped via USPS (Post Office) Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation, so every shipment is trackable. CD set shipping rates To all 50 states: $4.99 for one copy, plus $2.00 for each additional copy shipped in the same order to one address CD set shipping, Canada CD set shipping to Canada is via USPS and is trackable. Contact us with your shipping address and let us know what you would like to order, and we'll get you a shipping quote. Shipping, booksShipping is available to US and Canada only. Books are shipped directly from the bindery to you, avoiding the cost of double-shipping, from the bindery to us, then us to you. We submit your order to the bindery, and once they have processed your order (usually about 3 days), allow 3-7 business days for shipping, an additional 10 business days if payment is by personal check. The bindery offers two US shipping options, USPS (Post Office) and UPS Ground. To minimize the risk of damage in transit, books sent by either option are shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes, rather than envelopes or other containers. Below is a comparative look at the two shipping options. Please read this information carefully. You are responsible for weighing the terms and cost of each and making your shipping option decision accordingly. Book shipping, USPSThe cost is the advantage. The disadvantage is non-trackability. No additional services (e.g., Delivery Confirmation) are available. The bindery can inform us as to whether or not your book has been shipped, but nothing can be confirmed beyond that point. Please note that if a shipment sent via USPS is lost or damaged in transit, neither we, the bindery, nor USPS can help you. A replacement copy will not be sent, nor will a refund be issued. Again, this option is not trackable. Book shipping rates, USPS To all 50 states: $4.99 for one copy, plus $1.00 for each additional copy shipped in the same order to one address Book shipping, UPSTrackability is the advantage; cost is the disadvantage. UPS Ground is the "regular" UPS shipping option, which usually takes about a week, plus or minus a couple of days, depending on where you are located. Please note that orders sent via UPS Ground can not ship to PO Box addresses. Book shipping rates, UPS To Continental US: $7.99 for one copy, plus $2.00 for each additional copy shipped in the same order to one address To Alaska and Hawaii: $22.85 for one copy, plus $7.55 for each additional copy shipped in the same order to one address Book shipping, Canada Book shipping to Canada is via UPS Canada Ground, a trackable service. Contact us with your shipping address and let us know what you would like to order, and we'll get you a shipping quote. In the event of shipping damageBooks shipped via UPS: If the book is damaged, the box is damaged. If damage to the book is outwardly evident, it's better to leave the box unopened so the claims inspector sees it just as it arrived. If the box is damaged but damage to the book is not certain, it's a good idea to take a good photo or two of it before opening it. In either case, if the book is damaged, contact both UPS and us at once and follow their instructions. Assuming they agree to honor the claim, the replacement will ship upon our receipt of payment from them. Books shipped via USPS: As stated above, shipments via USPS are not trackable or insurable. Our personal experience is that this means they will not honor a damage claim. If you intend to attempt negotiating replacement with them, let us know this. If you are successful, the replacement will ship upon our receipt of payment from them. CD sets: Contact USPS and us, and follow their instructions.
